Binary Program

Preparation and Advising

At each partner college, a faculty member is designated as the advisor for the Binary program. Students are encouraged in their freshman year to meet with the advisor to plan the three-year curriculum, providing a seamless transition to Case Western Reserve University.

At Case, one faculty member in each engineering department serves as the liaison for the students in the major they have selected. These faculty members will guide the students in the selection of the courses needed to complete an engineering degree at Case.

The Office of Undergraduate Studies will officially serve as the base for formally transferring all credits from the liberal arts colleges.

The Binary Program is administered through the Office of Engineering Student Programs in the Case School of Engineering. In addition to the major department of study, the Office of Engineering Student Programs will serve as the "home" for the students and assist them with identifying scholarships, financial aid options, experiential opportunities, extra-curricular involvement, and any other areas of interest or concern as the binary student transitions to Case.
